**T1 SOC Analyst

£30-36k (inc. 15% shift bonus)**
Are you an enthusiastic, tech savvy, cyber security fanatic itching to get technically hands on and involved with REAL technology? (Not just ticketing and passing the fun onto someone else) Then keep reading

I'm looking to make contact with a skilled and highly technical Junior SOC Security analyst, with ability and experience in scripting, low-level network protocols, and a strong interest in security.

If you already have some experience on security monitoring in a similar environment and knowledge of Firewalls, IDS, engineering of such, threats / false positives and ability to fine tune various devices and software then I would love to hear from you

This is an absolutely outstanding job for a quick, smart, thinking person itching to get into the UK security market Experience with products like Splunk, Sentinel, Arcsight, Elastic, Q1 Radar, LogLogic, RSA Envision EPO SNORT IDS IPS / and solid networkfundamentals are vital

Training is extremely strong and the working environment is a very interesting one.

**Things we would love to see on your CV**:

- Some experience with any SIEM tool
- Experience working in a SOC environment (at least 12months)
- A real passion for cyber security
- Knowledge of Firewalls, IDS
- Experience in scripting, low-level network protocols
- Knowledge of security threats
- Great communication skills
