Ontic is seeking to appoint an L&D Partner to join its Group HR function - this role can be site based (Gloucestershire) or hybrid, flexible working options, including part-time are also available and can be discussed during the recruitment process. - The Role
- This is a Global role where you'll leverage your strategic L&D expertise to work with business leaders and drive a high-performing culture within Ontic. This involves developing a learning and development strategy and framework for the organization, as well as providing input to the people strategy and collaborating with key senior stakeholders to shape the philosophy and approach to development. In addition, you will identify and establish platforms and partnerships with trusted providers to deliver impactful solutions, promote a culture of sharing and adopting learning solutions and best practices, and evaluate ROI at an enterprise level.
As an advocate for continuous learning, growth, and development, you will identify training needs, design and implement effective learning solutions, and contribute to the overall organizational strategy. Your focus on Learning and Development will help foster innovation, creativity, and engagement among Ontic employees.

This position requires you to work closely with business leaders to understand the priorities and goals of the organisation, playing a critical role in providing the organisation with the skills and knowledge they'll need to succeed.
- By developing strong relationships with internal stakeholders you'll ensure learning initiatives align with business strategies, providing guidance on career development, performance management and succession planning. You'll stay up-to-date with current industry trends best practices and promote a learning culture to continuously improve our programs and their effectiveness using data driven insights and recommendations to support and continuously seeking opportunities to enhance the learning experience for employees. You'll communicate, launch and embed learning program results, reporting on progress and challenge resolution targets.
- What you'll already have
- Demonstrable strategic L&D Business Partnering experience gained within a fast-paced, growing organisation coupled with strong leadership skills, and the confidence to be able to inspire, collaborate and constructively challenge business stakeholders. In addition to:
- Ability to collaborate and create Learning & Development strategies and solutions aligned with the business area and wider business objectives-
- Deep expertise in Learning and Development, including knowledge of learning design principles, learning technology, curation, and outcome measurement-
- Experience building and scaling innovative learning and development programs-
- Knowledge and understanding of the latest trends and developments in L&D, including new and emerging technologies, and how these may drive improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of learning solutions-
- Analytical skills to use data and metrics to evaluate the efficacy of Learning solutions and make data-driven decisions-
- Change management skills to manage change and implement new solutions and initiatives-
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex ideas and information to a variety of audiences, including senior business stakeholders, employees, and third parties-
- Project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously-
- Account management of third parties-
