Assistant Financial Controller

I am working with a growing FMCG business who are seeking an Assistant Financial Controller to join the team.
You will be responsible for the monthly Management Accounts in accordance with Group policies and German GAAP, along with the Annual Statutory Accounts produced in accordance with FRS102. The role will also include tax compliance, treasury management financialaccounts, audit and balance sheet control.
The role is also responsible for the Sales accounting function ensuring that TI accruals are managed with integrity and in accordance with audit requirements.
You will lead the complex relationship of the outsourced provider to ensure compliance to KPI's and to drive continuous improvement to reduce costs.
You'll be a key interface with the wider finance team and have regular contact with the CFO, so having gravitas and excellent communication skills is key.
Key Requirements:
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified
- Experience of leading a year-end audit process
- Strong technical accounting knowledge of FRS102
- Hands-on Tax compliance including Corporation tax/Deferred tax/VAT/Income Tax
- Experience in managing an outsourced function
- Treasury management
- Commercial finance compliance
- Internal audit process management experience
- Reporting function experience
