Our Daylesford family is growing, and we are looking for a passionate **Trainee Baker **to join our bakery team at Daylesford, based at our organic farm in Gloucestershire.

**Full Time** contract, based on 40 hours per week**, we are offering a hugely competitive starting salary of £10.50 per hour, increasing to £11.83ph once fully trained.**

Shifts are spread between 5 pm to 1 am, OR 6pm - 2am 5 evenings / nights per week (inc. weekends).

**About the role**

Our world class Bakers will train and develop you every step of the way to be the best that you can be within our market leading Bakery. You can build your career with us and become a fully fledged baker.

We expect that with our expertise, support, and development you would be up to speed with how our business operates within 3-6 months. Your training will continue from here being fully immersed in our production unit across at least 3 sections including Pastries, Mixing, Shaping & Kneading and Baking, gaining the tools of the trade to make you the next STAR BAKER.

**About the role**

As a Trainee Baker you will be working towards producing the highest-quality baked goods at our organic farm in rural Gloucestershire and working amongst a team of Bakers who strive to give the best performance in order to work efficiently, safely and appropriately at all times.

You will be working within a fast-paced, varied and extremely rewarding environment, and your duties will include the following: preparation of ingredients, mixing, kneading, shaping, proving, baking, packing and cleaning.

**Main responsibilities**
- The execution of all baked products as per company specifications
- To ensure that all Bakery preparation is completed in a timely and professional manner
- To adhere to the organic standards as set out by the Soil Association
- Display a strong eye for detail to ensure accuracy and precision
- Carry out all baking duties with care and diligence to guarantee the production of a consistently high standard of product, along with mínimal levels of wastage
