As a Butler/Valet/Personal assistant you must be able to provide support to the Household team and the Principle. The main focus of this roll is to supervise house staff, maintain the expectations of the principle, and ensure the property is operating smoothly. You will also be the righthand man of the principle and help with all valet duties. You will be responsible for cataloging, organising, and caring for the principles’s wardrobe, packing and unpacking for trips, assisting him with dressing, and offering clothing suggestions on a daily basis.

You will have direct supervisory responsibility for at least 10 team members right away and you will be responsible to make sure that all their HR needs are dealt with through the HR team.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- helping to Serve all daily meals and ensuring chef menus are approved weekly
- Assist with the complete oversight of the household staff at two main properties in the uK and USA; ensuring consistency of standards, procedures, and services
- Oversee principles packing, shopping, and travel preparation. Serve as personal valet to the principle at all times
- Assist with seasonally organizing clothing and closets, maintaining the appearance of footwear, clothing, and outwear as required.
- Maintain all household calendars for staff holidays with the HR manager and schedules and providing prior notification to the staff of the scheduling of events and estate maintenance/repair activities
- Prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously, proactively, and follow through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures
- Responsible for special requests from principal and their guests as needed, and execute special projects as requested by the principle
- Assist in child-related administration including scheduling activities, classes, summer camps, and birthday parties with nannies and chef and other family members if needed.
- Oversee guests arrivals and departures, including any special requests they might have
- organising cars and other transport for principle and guests as needed
- Responsible for all aspects of meal setup including service and bartending for principal and guests as and when required
- Assist with planning and organizing special events and dinners in the home
- Perform personal and household shopping requirements as needed
- Monitor and reconcile staff credit cards and ensure timely monthly payments
- Coordinate staff travel arrangements including flight, hotel, car rentals, etc. with HR manager

**Requirements**:

- Exceptional professionalism, communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to serve and to not clock watch
- Early mornings and late nights and willingness to travel
- Food and beverage handling when working within the team of house staff
- Self-starter, proactive, extraordinarily detail-oriented with a **“no task too big or too small” attitude dynamic**:

- Detail-oriented with exceptional organization and task management skills
- Experience working in high stress, fast-paced environments where the utmost discretion and confidentiality are required
- Proficiency in PC, Mac, and Microsoft Office would be helpful
- Flexibility in scheduling with willingness to work long hours needed
- Proactive and driven attitude; willingness to succeed at all costs
- Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities
- Valid Passport; Must travel alongside the principle both domestically and internationally
- High profile principle with a lot of media attention so discretion goes without saying. NDA/confidentiality agreement will need to be signed by all house staff including this role.

**Salary**: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
