Nursery Room Leader

This is an opportunity to work as a Room Leader in a supportive team environment within an Outstanding Nursery.

Main Purpose of Job
To provide high quality, inclusive care and education for the children in the Day Care Nursery.

**Responsibilities**:

- To care for and educate the children in your care.
- To provide for the individual physical, emotional, social and intellectual needs of the children.
- To provide and maintain a clean, safe and stimulating environment.
- To provide a range of suitable activities and experiences
- To work in partnership with the parents/carers of the children in your care.
- To work as a member of a team of staff and students/trainees.
- To supervise, train and support students/trainees throughout their training.

Hours: Monday - Friday 40 hour week.

Holiday: 20 days per annum plus bank holidays and Christmas Closure
(Rising to 25 days over a 5-year period)

Qualification Requirements: A full and valid level 3 childcare qualification
