About the Role
You will be responsible for being
an integral part in the operation within
the three rooms covering all early years in our Nursery. The role will also be key in delivering a stimulating and varied programme of play alongside other team members,
ensuring the safety and well-being of children at all times and working
alongside the Nursery Leaders to deliver a consistent Parent/Carer/Children’s experience & team experience whilst delivering
the key responsibilities & compliance of the Butlin’s Little Learners Day
Nursery.
**Purpose of the role**:
- To provide an exciting and wide activity programme and understand and
respect the need for consistency of care in our Nursery
- To assist in providing a safe, supportive and caring environment to ensure
that all aspects of each individual child’s development are given full
consideration via monitoring and implementing sufficient safeguarding policies
- To ensure that clean and hygienic standards are maintained at all times.
- To maintain and follow all Health and Safety policies and procedures relating
to the Nursery
- To be proactive in the process of activity planning, child observation and
development records on a regular basis.
- To be involved in developing and delivering a stimulating and creative
atmosphere within the Nursery providing a wide activity programme for
nursery sessions.
- To maintain confidentiality about all issues related to children, their
families and the business.
- Working alongside Nursery Leadership Team to achieve excellent standards
within the nursery
**Typical working hours**: 24 hours per week over Monday-Friday
between the hours of 9.30am - 2.30pm. This role is permanent and paid
fortnightly.
