**About the role**

You'll be in charge of a team working for this incredible Public Sector to deliver a full professional and technical service to there teams and external bodies, regarding feasibility and new build works, refurbishment, improvements, building maintenance,contract and project management.

You'll lead an experienced and committed team and play a key role in our service, so great communications skills and an inspirational leadership style will really help you to make a difference.

It is a hybrid role allowing for work both in the office and on site giving you the flexibility some need.

**About you**

My client is looking for someone with a Senior Site Manager/Site Manager background or a Construction Project Manager background.

They need someone who shares our passion to drive improvement, support value, as well as delivery of best practice in Property Services Management.
- Main duties and responsibilities:_
- Provide technical advice on all construction issues
- Project management of processes and capital projects from appointment of contractors, through to start on site and completion/handover of projects outputs.
- To programme manage property improvement schemes, proactively managing risk, resources and relationships and ensuring achievement of project objectives.
- Specific requirements:_
- Degree in Building Surveying, or equivalent in construction together with relevant experience within the construction industry.
- Experience and knowledge of the legislative context of property management in a large, diverse and complex organisation.
- Experience of project management including the supervision and management of contractors and consultants.
