**About the role**

Derwent Waterside Park is looking to recruit an experienced Retail & Visitor Information Assistant to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join us, providing an unrivalled experience to our visitors. You’ll help maximise revenue and grow profitability through your excellent customer service skills.

In addition, you will provide information to all visitors along with advice on activities and other outdoor pursuits. Applicants should be willing to learn about the local area, wildlife, and the environment.

It’s really important that you demonstrate a willingness to work as part of a team, supporting everyone to achieve our goals.

You may also be required to work at one of our other sites and do alternative duties to meet the business needs.

**About you**

You’ll be professional, self-motivated, and creative, with a high level of attention for detail. Previous experience is not essential, but desirable as training will be given.

The role requires proven organisation skills, flexibility and willingness to work unsociable hours, including weekends, and bank holidays.
- This role has been defined as a safety or security critical role and as a condition of a formal offer of employment you’ll be required to undergo a drug and alcohol test. Prospective employees and agency workers in defined safety and security critical roles will be required to undertake a drug and alcohol test after the job offer has been made. This will be prior to or within four weeks of their start date._
