**Maintenance Technician**
**Contract position (6 months initially), with the potential to go permanent**
**Competitive rate on offer**
**7am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday, 7am-2:30pm on Friday**
**You may occasionally be required to work on the afternoon shift (shift allowance paid)**

**Maintenance Technician**
- Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on CNC Machines/Machine Tools
- Undertake replacement of worn parts either as required or on a regular replacement cycle
- Keep down-time to a minimum, whilst contributing to the safe and efficient running of production processes and cost-effective use of down-time

**Maintenance Technician**
**Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications**:

- Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment
- Well-versed carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance on CNC machines/machine tools
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical / Electrical maintenance drawings
- The ability to use inspection equipment associated with maintenance activities
- Good standard of general education

**Maintenance Technician**
**Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualification**:

- Knowledge and experience in one or more of welding techniques, IEE wiring regulations, total productive maintenance
- Good computer skills, and knowledge of the computer systems used (SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook etc)
- An engineering apprenticeship is desirable, although training will be given
