**About The Role**:
We are seeking a highly motivated Events Coordinator to join our team to cover maternity leave for up to 12 months.

The role is advertised as part time working two days per week, but we can discuss alternative hours and working patterns.

The successful Events Coordinator will be responsible for planning and executing a range of events, from conception to completion, ensuring the events run smoothly and exceed our guests' expectations of our flagship restaurant, Carriages.

Located just outside Hereford within the Head Office of allpay Limited, Carriages is no ordinary restaurant. Open every Friday and Saturday evening throughout the year for standard bookings or exclusive private hire for 30 to 40 guests, Carriages caters for a whole host of special occasions and promises a memorable experience: Home | Carriages Restaurant | Hereford | Whitestone (carriageshereford.co.uk)

As Events Coordinator you will be tasked with planning and organising a diverse events calendar, including general opening, new menu launches, networking events, and social events, as well as any internal core business events that need support from Carriages.

You will work closely with our customers, suppliers and stakeholders to understand event requirements to ensure they are met within the agreed budget and timeline.

You will source and liaise with suppliers, including external venues, caterers, audio-visual providers, and transportation services, to ensure the smooth running of events.

The Events Coordinator role works as part of the marketing team to create event branding, promotional materials, and social media content to allow events to stand out and evaluate the success of events, using feedback from customers and suppliers to make improvements and report return on investment.

This is a hands-on role that requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple events/stakeholders at once.

Evening work will be required on an ad-hoc basis to oversee and ensure events run smoothly.

**About You**:

- Proven experience in event planning and coordination, ideally within a restaurant/experience environment.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
- Attention to detail, with the ability to manage budgets, schedules, and logistics.
- A creative and innovative approach to event planning, with the ability to think outside the box.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- A degree in event management, marketing, or a related field is desirable, but not essential.
