Porter/van Driver

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Saleroom Assistant/Van Driver for our busy Leyburn salerooms. Working as part of a team, the work includes:
Visiting our clients homes in one of our company light vans to collect antique furniture, ceramics, pictures and works of art and unloading at our salerooms

Moving items in the building and at our off-site stores as required

Helping clients who are dropping off and collecting items to unload/load their items

Much of this role involves moving large items of furniture, often from a first floor setting and you must therefore be capable of this type of work and working on your own initiative. You will often be handling high value items and must be able to work carefully and accurately.

You must be able to communicate effectively with people at all levels and you must have a full clean driving license, previous relevant experience and live within a 30 minute drive of our Leyburn salerooms.

This is a casual role, with working hours and days as available between 8am-5pm Monday to Friday and some Saturday working from 8am-2pm.

Hourly pay is negotiable according to experience.
