**Principal Training Consultant**

The AtkinsRéalis Training Services team is looking to hire a talented and experienced Principal Training Consultant. This is an exciting opportunity to manage the Training Services team and develop and shape the Training consultancy capability across our current and expanding markets.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced principal training consultant who can manage complex defence and safety-critical projects that include the research, analysis, design, delivery, and evaluation of training solutions. You will have a proven track record of managing a team and conducting and delivering all elements of Training Needs Analysis (TNA) where a Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) process is employed. Specifically, you will have demonstrable experience of leading all aspects of TNAs in accordance with JSP 822 - Defence Systematic Approach to Training (DSAT).

**Your responsibilities**:
**Essential Skills**:

- Manage and author high quality analytical reports which comply with industry/MOD standards.
- Manage/supervise the delivery of all elements of individual and collective Defence TNA projects using the DSAT process.
- Demonstrates detailed knowledge of a SAT or ADDIE training methodology typically described by JSP 822.
- Experienced in technically assuring / developing and implementing complex training programmes and strategies.
- Development and assurance of training materials and support the development of technology enabled solutions.
- Ability to lead senior consultants/consultants/associates/junior consultants on larger projects.
- Project manage multiple training research, analysis, and design requirements.
- Significant and effective stakeholder engagement skills to support clients with the implementation of competence management processes and systems.
- Ability to manage tasks, working alongside the client to define and deliver work packages and deliverables.
- Manage training evaluation and assessment activities.
- Commercially astute and can lead technical input on training approach, methodology and costs in support of proposals.
- Organised, able to multi-task, prioritise, work to deadlines, and manage changing requirements.

**Qualifications and experience required**:

- Authorised to work in the UK, with the ability to be Security Cleared (possibility to achieve higher clearances).
- Individual and Collective training consultancy experience within UK Defence/Industry.
- A working knowledge of Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S) structures and responsibilities is desirable.
- Strong analytical skills and experience of the production and quality/technical assurance of formal TNA outputs.
- Experience of the design of training materials using a SAT-compliant methodology.
- Knowledge and understanding of latest technology enhanced media to support the delivery of effective training.
- Successful in establishing strong and effective working relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Self-reliant, proactive, and possessing strong initiative coupled with excellent time management and organisational skills.
