Location - Salford, Manchester
Salary 40k with 6 month performance review
Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Workshop Coordination**:
- Efficiently plan and coordinate the workflow within the bodyshop.
- Ensure repairs are completed on time, maintaining high-quality standards.
- **Team Leadership**:
- Lead a team of skilled technicians.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and performance.
- **Quality Control**:
- Implement stringent quality control measures.
- Ensure all repairs meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations.
- **Resource Optimization**:
- Manage manpower, equipment, and materials effectively.
- Maximize productivity while minimizing downtime.
- **Customer Interaction**:
- Be the point of contact for customers.
- Provide updates on vehicle repairs.
- Address concerns or inquiries professionally and with a customer-centric approach.
- **Technical Expertise**:
- Possess a solid understanding of automotive repair processes.
- Stay informed about industry trends.
- Provide technical guidance to the team as needed.
- **Health and Safety**:
- Adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections.
- Promote a culture of safety among the team.
- **Documentation**:
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and parts usage.
- Generate reports for management review.
- **Continuous Improvement**:
- Identify opportunities for process enhancement, cost reduction, and improved efficiency.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience in automotive workshop management.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Passion for delivering exceptional service.
**Salary**: £38,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
