They will also engage and empower customers to identifying and making appropriate housing choice, and make appropriate and lawful housing needs assessments and homelessness decision-making.

**Qualifications**:

- 3 GCSE's, Grades A-C, or equivalent including English and Mathematics.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role, or context and ideally within a public sector organisation.
- Customer focused, empathetic and creative, with a commitment to working in partnership with internal and external contacts to ensure a high quality and efficient service.
- Experience of housing advice and homelessness casework, including decision-making and letter-writing. Minimum 3 years of experience required.
- Knowledge of landlord, tenant and homelessness law policies, and procedures, along with experience of managing a demanding caseload and carrying out home visits and investigations.
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages or equivalent (e.g. G Suite).
