We are looking for a reliable, dedicated, dog enthusiast who, come rain or shine, can love, care, nurture and take full pride in our pack
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Dog Walker. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and happiness of our clients' furry companions.
Must hold a valid U.K. driving licence, a good pair of walking boots(), and be available between the hours of 8.30am-3pm from our base in Fairwater CF5. Full training will be provided along with a fully kitted van and equipment - Including leads, bowls, treats and towels.
**Responsibilities**:
1. Provide personalised and attentive care to dogs during walking sessions, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met. Mental stimulation is just as important as physical stimulation for us.
2. Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity while representing our brand.
3. Adhere to schedules and routes to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs.
4. Monitor dogs for any signs of distress, illness, or injury, and promptly report any concerns to the appropriate channels.
5. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards during walks, including proper disposal of waste, washing and drying of the dogs post walk, maintaining vehicle, equipment and the use of the daycare areas cleanliness.
6. Engage with dogs in enriching activities such as training exercises, and socialisation with other pack members.
7. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' behaviour, health updates, and any relevant concerns. In person and via whatsapp. (We update our clients throughout the day with videos and photos)
8. Continuously strive to exceed expectations and provide exceptional service to both clients and their beloved pets.
9. We work all year round so decent clothing during winter and summer months is required.
Qualifications/Work experience/Education
- 1. Previous experience working with dogs in a professional capacity, such as dog walking, pet sitting, or animal shelter volunteering. (not essential) but need a strong desire to learn and think fast.
2. Strong understanding of canine behaviour, body language, and basic training principles or willing to learn and put into practice. (not essential)
3. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently and compassionately with both animals and humans.
4. Reliable transportation to and from work and a valid driver's license. You will be required to turn up to the same address each morning before being given your instructions for the day.
5. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a variety of situations. We can get pressure off the public and other dog walkers so you need to be able to handle yourself and the dogs in a professional and safe manner.
6. Physical fitness and stamina to handle walking multiple dogs of varying sizes and energy levels.
7. Flexibility to accommodate varying amounts of dogs and routes.
8. Genuine passion for animals and a commitment to their well-being.
If you want more income and we think you are ready and capable we can provide more dogs or extra walks to suit.

**Salary**: £72.00 per day
Expected hours: 18 - 40 per week
