**Senior Finance Officer - Expenditure**
**£25,600 - £27,164 (dependent on qualifications and experience)**
In this interesting and varied role, you will oversee the College’s Accounts Payable function and support purchasing and procurement processes across the College.
You will perform supplier payment runs and process purchase order requisitions, purchase orders, invoices and payments to suppliers, as well as ensuring these processes are completed in a timely manner.
You will perform a variety of financial tasks to support the completion of month and year end financial processes including fixed assets, banking and procurement cards.
You will play a key role in ensuring that the above transactions comply with the College's financial regulations and approved procedures.
You will be part of a busy finance team undertaking a range of financial tasks consistent with a FE College including enrolment and other duties.
You must have experience of using a computerised finance system and of developing and maintaining a range of administrative systems and procedures.
An ability to work accurately and communicate clearly with a customer focussed approach is essential for this busy role.
