Our client, an Engineering company based in the Prescot, Liverpool area, is looking for an experienced Armature Winder/Fitter to join their team on permanent basis.
Applicants must be time served in a repair company and have previous experience of carrying out rewinding, overhauling and fitting of low voltage electric motors. Applicants must also be able to read and formulate diagrams and winding data.
The successful applicant will be responsible for winding, dismantling, reporting, fault finding, reassembling and testing electric motors mainly low voltage.
Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8am - 4.30pm and Friday 8am - 3pm.
This is a day shift position with overtime at x1.5 and x2.
This is permanent with regular overtime available.
**Salary**: £17.05 per hour plus regular overtime
