**Change Delivery Managers are you ready to step into Head of Change function working on some exciting projects?**

As Head of Change you will play a pivotal role in supporting our growth ambitions across SSCL Defence. This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior leader to join a new and growing team with big ambitions.

You’ll need to be engaging, with high energy and people developer at your core, who will develop the vision and execute against your strategic Change Management plan.

You will also be key to building strategic relationships across our Defence sector.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Managing change impact, creating clear communications, and ensuring wider organisational readiness.
- Working closely with our customer, IT Operations, Programme Management Office and Business Development teams as an organisational change partner whilst supporting the successful delivery of all projects in scope for the contract.
- Identify and mitigate change impacts of the various projects and define and implement organisational change plans to prevent or address them
- Involvement in multiple fast paced projects concurrently, influence all levels of partners (including senior command client side)
- Develop and deliver sometimes difficult messages, both for team, internal partner, and our customer.
- Own the portfolio of delivery projects and track progress against agreed objectives and targets
- Help further develop internal processes to allow swift set-up and execution of customer projects
- Support and mentor existing team members and be the point of escalation for the project management team
- Work with the business development and project delivery teams to ensure a seamless handover between teams
- Providing a structured and focused approach to the management of large-scale complex change programmes and delivery of their benefits
- Leading on the integration, coordination, and governance of change across the organisation

**What you’ll bring**:

- Comfortable communicating and addressing C-Level/Command Level partners
- Demonstrable experience of working in a similar role
- A passion for delivering value and want to work and coach others into working in a highly engaged and successful team
- Solid understanding of how to set the vision and strategy for a successful project management team and process
- Ability to work with a wide variety of internal partners across business development, finance teams and operations
- Think creatively to find new ways of addressing barriers to execution and success
- Continuous Improvement experience an advantage

**It would be great if you had**:

- Previous Ministry of Defence experience beneficial
