Associate Dental Surgeon

Overview:
FOLLOWING AN INCREASED CONTRACT ALLOCATION
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our team. As a Dentist, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients, diagnose and treat various dental conditions, and promote oral health. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A MIXED PRACTICE ROLE WITH UDAS AND PRIVATE MIX AND THE CANDIDATE WILL BE ASKED TO WORK 3 DAYS MINIMUM WITH FRIDAYS MANDATORY

PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR UDA AND PRIVATE GROSS HISTORY ON DAYS WORKED WITH APPLICATION

UDA VALUE £26 WITH AN EXPECTATION PRO RATA OF 5-6OOO UDAS IF FULL TIME OR PRO RATA

NORMAL PRIVATE GROSS AVERAGES APPROX 15K PER MONTH FOR A 3 DAY WEEK DENTIST

**Duties**:

- Perform dental examinations and assessments to determine oral health conditions
- Diagnose and treat dental conditions such as cavities, gum disease, and tooth decay
- Administer anesthetics and perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and other staff members to develop treatment plans for patients
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care techniques
- Use medical imaging technology, such as X-rays, to diagnose dental issues
- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software for creating dental prosthetics
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry and attend continuing education courses

**Requirements**:

- minimum 3 days a week and experiance of working in a mixed practice
- Proven experience as a Dental associate
- In-depth knowledge of dental procedures, tools, and equipment
- Strong work ethic and a desire to deliver good care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
