**Your role in our future**

The Cyber Security Lead must be able to translate the IT-risk requirements and constraints of the business into technical control measurement and reporting.

You will coordinate the IT organisation’s technical activities to implement and manage security infrastructure, and will provide regular status and service level reports to management.

Key responsibilities:

- Manage the activities of the IT security support teams for both IT operations and project needs.
- Support the development and implementation of a security program and security projects that address identified risks and business security requirements.
- Manage the process of gathering, analysing and assessing the current and future threat landscape, as well as providing leadership with a realistic overview of risks and threats in the enterprise environment.
- Manage production issues and incidents and participate in problem and change management.
- Establish Identity and access management practice
- With the support of the Governance and Analytics lead, work with IS/IT and business stakeholders to define metrics and reporting strategies that effectively communicate successes and progress of the security program.
- Recommend and coordinate the implementation of technical controls to support and enforce defined security policies.
- Research, evaluate, design, test recommend or plan the implementation of new or updated information security hardware or software, and analyze its impact on the existing environment; provide technical and managerial expertise for the administration of security tools.
- Work with the enterprise architecture team to ensure that there is a convergence of business, technical and security requirements.
- Maintain a knowledgebase comprising a technical reference library, security advisories and alerts, information on security trends and practices, and law and regulations.
- Manage the day-to-day activities of threat and vulnerability management, identify risk tolerances, recommend treatment plans and communicate information about residual risk.
- Manage security projects and provide expert guidance on security matters for other IT projects.
- The authority to hire, separate, promote, demote, write and administer performance evaluations.
- Research and recommend new security tools and technologies.
- Create an incident response program.
- Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
- Advise senior management (e.g., Chief Security Information Officer) on risk levels and security posture.
- Provide enterprise cybersecurity and supply chain risk management guidance for development of the Continuity of Operations Plans.
