My client, an industry leader with their high end camera systems and software solutions They have been developing these innovative, high performance software and hardware products for over 35 years They work with multiple industries including Medical/Engineeringand Entertainment. These systems are used in Hollywood and in top rated video games as well as VR/Hospitals and are operating in research fields spanning sports science to robotics and drone development, they really know their stuff.

Experience
- Experience as a Software Director working with mid-large scale teams
- Worked with different types of software development methodologies (e.g. agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, etc.)

**Responsibilities**:

- Accountability for the software team, including staffing, oversight, development
- Delivery of software products and ensuring that the software team have a clear strategy, mission and goals
- Provide leadership and oversight of departmental structure, recruitment, talent development, succession planning, and addressing organisational gaps and risks
- Responsible for putting together software roadmap that aligns with the business needs,
- Experience running a multi-dimensional software department to deliver concurrent projects
- Have proven experience in successfully building, restructuring and running teams that are capable of delivering complex modular/scalable software solutions
