**Job Title: HR Assistant (UK)**

**Job Overview**: As an HR Assistant at Cloud9 Fulfilment, you will be a crucial part of our Human Resources team, responsible for providing essential administrative and clerical support. Your role will contribute to the efficient functioning of the HR department, ensuring compliance with UK employment regulations and promoting a positive employee experience. Your strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication will be instrumental in maintaining accurate records and facilitating HR processes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Onboarding and Offboarding**:

- Assist in orchestrating the onboarding process for new employees, coordinating induction materials and arranging orientation sessions.
- Manage documentation for new hires and leavers, adhering to UK legal requirements and company policies.
- **Employee Records Management**:

- Maintain meticulous electronic and physical employee records, ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with UK data protection laws.
- Update HR databases promptly with any modifications to employee information, such as contact details and job titles.
- **HR Communication**:

- Assist in composing internal HR communications, announcements, and updates to company policies.
- Address basic HR queries from employees, redirecting complex matters to the relevant specialists.
- **Recruitment Support**:

- Contribute to initial CV screenings and background checks.
- **Training and Development**:

- Support the planning and coordination of training sessions, workshops, and other employee development events.
- Monitor employee training progress and maintain comprehensive training records.
- **Compliance and Reporting**:

- Contribute to upholding compliance with UK employment legislation and regulations by staying informed of changes and maintaining meticulous records.
- Prepare fundamental HR reports and analytics when required.
- **Administrative Support**:

- Offer general administrative assistance to the HR team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and preparing documents.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- GCSEs or equivalent educational qualifications; a degree in HR or a related field is advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience in an administrative or HR support role is desirable.
- Exceptional organizational abilities, enabling effective multitasking and task prioritization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in UK English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with HRIS systems.
- Impeccable attention to detail and a commitment to handling confidential information with utmost discretion.
- Basic understanding of UK employment laws and regulations.
- A customer-service mindset with a strong willingness to support colleagues.
- Adaptability and a proactive approach to learning within a dynamic work environment.
