**Job Description**:
**Central MHE Lead / Instructor | Hybrid: Remote and Clay Lake, Spalding | Mon-Fri 8.30am - 5pm**

Gousto continues to grow its complexity and reliance on Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) we are increasing our levels of training, compliance and management of centrally sourced and management MHE equipment and suppliers. We are looking to recruit a Central MHE Lead. It is a role for an ambitious, curious and passionate trainer and auditor, who wants to operate in a high growth, high safety and high care environment such as Gousto.

**The role**
- Training of both Gousto and non-Gousto staff within Fulfilment Centre
- The audit and compliance checks across all factories related to MHE safety, accident investigation and root cause analysis of incidents involving MHE.
- The management of central equipment allocation and servicing.
- Analyse MHE use and efficiency; to optimise asset use and de-risk contract use financial risks
- Expert user of the MHE management systems
- Infolink and Davis Derby.
- Manage supplier service performance and escalations, PO raising and receipt for all network equipment
- Drive future equipment identification - assessment and training requirements as the network expands.
- Work closely with our external partners (Acclaim and Crown.)
- Communicate effectively with Internal stakeholders such as Buying, Tech, Supply Chain and Factory Operations teams; enabling them to deliver on any future initiatives by providing them with the right level of insight on equipment choice / capability and training where required.

**Requirements**:
Required Skills, knowledge and experience:

- Current MHE trainer qualifications - Counter Balance, Reach, PPT / LLOP as minimum requirement
- Currently an established MHE trainer
- Audit / compliance experience - fleet pre use checks and system auditing
- Accident investigation - root cause analysis training
- Supplier Management experience - service and escalations
- Risk assessment experience (not RA owner but inputs)
- Analytical skillset (Excel/Gsheets)
- Eager to learn, curious, optimistic, humble
- Enjoys team work, can build relationships with internal stakeholders
- Thrilled by high growth high innovation environment

Nice to have:

- VNA use and training experience / qualification
- Automated MHE experience (AGV’s, Cranes etc)
- IOSH managing safety
- Remote fleet / network management experience
