Shop Keeper

Duties: Processing customer payments using the shop's Point of Sale (POS) system. Receiving, processing, and organising deliveries accordingly. Informing customers of shop promotions to encourage purchases. Restocking and ensuring that the sales floor is organised neatly. Assisting customers in locating shop items. Good working knowledge of retail processes and to deliver good customer service. Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by being knowledgeable on all products offered to provide excellent sales service. Reporting on the profit of the retail store and whether it is reaching financial goals. Awareness of trends in the retail market. Sharing product knowledge with customers and with store team members. Ensuring that the store is tidied and kept presentable for the opening of the next day.

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Supervising experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Retail management: 1 year (preferred)
- Management: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
