Job Title: Schedule Estimator - Architectural Ironmongery

Location: Chesterfield or surrounding areas
Remuneration: £30,000 - £38,000
The role of the Schedule Estimator - Architectural Ironmongery will involve:

- Schedule Estimator dealing with a range of manufactured high end architectural ironmongery
- The majority of your time will be spent raising estimates and price schedules for main contractors and joinery sub-contractors
- Develop certified package specifications
- Accurately prepare quotes for clients
- Liaise directly with the client to outline the technicalities of the quotes and respond to any queries
- Build and develop relationships with new and existing clients
- Provide technical, specification and production support to internal colleagues
- Liaise with supply chain to coordinate bespoke components
- Ensure that any design changes are documented and estimates / quotes are altered accordingly

The ideal applicant will be a Schedule Estimator - Architectural Ironmongery with:

- Must have estimating/scheduling experience within architectural ironmongery, door hardware or associated ironmongery products
- Commercial understanding of ironmongery schedules / door schedules / drawings / lock suiting strategies / National Building Specifications (NBS)
- Ideally will be familiar with Intec Door Scheduling software
- Ideally will have an Guild of Architectural Ironmongery qualification
- Full UK driving license
- IT literate (Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills across all levels both written and verbal
- The ability to work under pressure and to timescales when required
- Team player with a positive outlook
- Must be commercially aware and cost focused
