**Full Time Role Available**

We are looking for a passionate Catering Supervisor to fill a new, exciting opportunity that has arisen within our fantastic catering team at Call of the Wild Zoo.

As a supervisor you will contribute to the management of our catering team by overseeing quality of service and colleague performance, allocating tasks, supporting colleagues and reporting to the senior manager. The Catering Supervisor will also providegeneral management of The Snack Shack in preparing and serving quality refreshments whilst maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness and safety.

The Snack Shack prides itself on providing an excellent customer service experience to our guests and the successful applicant will make a significant contribution to this by ensuring our guests receive the highest level of quality and service.

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Day to day supervision of the catering team and contributing to performance reviews
- Compiling staff rotas and arranging cover when necessary
- Stock maintenance and control, placing weekly orders
- Planning workloads and allocating tasks
- Motivating colleagues to achieve and deliver high quality service
- Ensuring colleagues are adequately trained to fulfil their role
- Compliance with safety standards, contributing to risk assessments
- Ensuring quality standards are upheld and compliance with company policies
- Support colleagues in resolving customer complaints
- Providing a friendly and effective service to our guests in all areas of the catering department
- Understanding the importance of providing the correct allergy information to customers, to comply with Natasha’s Law
- Taking pride in what you do every day, caring for the environment, our animals and our people.

**Key Skills and Requirements**:

- At least two years supervisory experience ideally in a front of house catering role
- Excellent, clear communication skills
- Leadership and problem solving skills
- Excellent organisation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Time management
- A general understanding of customer relationship management
- Ability to multi-task, working calmly and effectively in a high-pressure environment
- A willingness to learn and self-develop

Call of The Wild Zoo is open 7 days a week, so flexibility to cover a variety of shifts including weekends and bank holidays is essential.

Salary will depend on experience and will be discussed at interview stage.
