Senior Invigilator

**Job Description**:
We are seeking dedicated individuals for the crucial role of Senior Exam Invigilators to uphold the integrity of our examination processes.
- Position: Senior Exam Invigilator- Location: Paisley and Lanarkshire campuses- Duration: December 4th - 15th, shifts between 10:00 am and 12:00 noon approx- Monday to Friday- Hourly Rate: £11.58p/hMain Purpose of the Role:

- Under the supervision of the University Registry staff responsible for the co-ordination and organisation of the examinations, you will be responsible for the operation of the examinations within a designated room including the supervision of the standard invigilators allocated to the appropriate examination venue.- Ensure the confidentiality of examination matters- Provide assistance to the senior staff of the University Registry in the organisation and supervision of examinations in the allocated examination venue- Collect and take examination papers from the Registry to the allocated internal and external venues- Organise the distribution of examination papers and the appropriate examination ancillary material- Read out appropriate instructions to students as required by the RegistryKey Skills and Requirements:

- A good general education background- Professional demeanor with a positive and enthusiastic approach to work- Strong observational skills- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written- Calm and efficient demeanor, especially in stressful situations- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
