**Salary**: This will range between £22,000-£26,000 (With fully funded study package available)
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic business, based at our head office in Buckshaw Village. This position will suit an enthusiastic and motivated Accounts Assistant, eager to develop their skills and experience with this varied role. **The purpose of this role is to**;
- Support the finance function of the business to; enable timely creation of billing, ledger management, treasury and cash management and creation of management reports.
- Working as an Accounts Assistant within a strong team, in a fast paced environment for a company experiencing continuing growth. Reporting to the Financial Controller.
**What we are looking for**;
**(Essential);**
- Experience of Accounts work - sales ledger/purchase ledger
- Confident and self-aware with the ability to communicate professionally
- Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Enthusiastic and positive energy
- Open to continuous improvement and learning, to support company growth
- Able to manage own workload and work well within a team
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
**(Desirable);**
- AAT qualified or studying towards level 4
- Accounting Software experience - Sage Intacct
- Strong Microsoft skills - Excel
**Duties include but are not limited to**:
- Invoice processing from time management system to accounting software
- Sales ledger maintenance
- Processing purchase ledger invoices and ledger management
- Processing bacs and payment runs
- Bank reconciliations
- Credit control overview
- Card processing and reconciliations
- Process development
- Preparation of journals for management accounts
- Cost analysis reporting
- Budget variance analysis
