Screening Midwife

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 midwife to join the antenatal and new-born screening team at South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust. We are a small friendly team with a strong focus on providing kind and supportive conversations to our pregnant and new-born population regarding all screening programmes. You will acquire increased experience in supporting non-directed conversations with our pregnant population and gain from the multidisciplinary relationships that working with other stakeholders in screening programmes brings.

You will be able to demonstrate excellent clinical skills and will work alongside the existing midwives to ensure that the service operates efficiently and effectively. You will have an excellent clinical knowledge base, high level communication, organisational skills, and excellent time management. You should be passionate about delivering high, quality care, achieving the highest possible patient experience.
