Burning Bed Operator

We have a unique position for a Burning Bed Operator to join our client's team in the Wallsend area.
The position is for an immediate start and likely to be until 2025 and beyond. Possible permanent opportunities available.
Working Monday to Thursday - 07:30hrs - 17:00hrs and Friday 07:30hrs - 13:30hrs (42 hours per week)
£19.50 per hour - For the first 42 hours worked and approved
£21.45 per hour - In excess of 42 hours worked and approved
£29.25 per hour - Saturday & Sunday hours worked and approved
£39.00 per hour - Bank Holiday hours worked and approved
Duties and Responsibilities, but not limited to for the Burning Bed Operator.
- Use of burning beds to cut plates
- Assist other areas of the Material Handling department and use overhead cranes to store/load plates.
- Strive to minimise equipment downtime by assisting with preventative, planned and unplanned maintenance.
Qualifications / Experience:
City & Guilds or similar
Previous experience in burning sheet metal
CSCS Card
