NDT Inspector required for a for a design and manufacturer of bearing technologies based in Lincoln.

Working within non-destructive testing, you will ensure that through Magnetic Particle (MT), Dye Penetrant (PT), Acid Etch (AE), and Visual Inspection (VT) methods, product meets customer requirements. Where required you will compile work instructions, as well as other administration tasks. Managing inventory within the department will also be required.

NDT Inspector Position Overview
- Magnetic Particle Inspection (MT)
- Penetrant Flaw Inspection (PT)
- Acid Etch Inspection (AE)
- Perform Control and Calibration tests to ensure full compliance
- Timely completion of administration data
- Carry out inspection tasks in other areas when necessary
- Compile quality reports where required
- May be called upon to work within other areas of the quality department
- Other duties as deemed relevant in the fulfilment of the position

NDT Inspector Position Requirements

Essential
- Qualified to EN4179/NAS410 at Level II standard for Acid Etch (AE), Magnetic Particle (MT), and Dye Penetrant (PT) disciplines.
- Engineering background ideally within the Aerospace sector
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and methodical approach to tasks
- Ability and willingness to work within a team

Desirable
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications preferable
- Computer literate
- Possess strong organisational skills

NDT Inspector Position Remuneration
- Salary £20,541- £25,346 dependent on experience (plus shift premium)
- Hours of work

Overtime available when required

A Shift Monday to Thursday 6am to 1:35pm

No Premium Friday 6am to 12:45pm

B Shift Monday to Thursday 1:25pm to 9:05pm

20% Premium Friday 12:35pm to 7pm

C Shift Monday to Thursday 8:55pm to 06:10am

30% Premium Friday - no shift.
