Electrostatic Seperator Operator

As part of TPF Plastics expansion, an opportunity has arisen for an operative to run the electrostatic separator at our facility in Spilsby.

Roles and Responsibilities.

Day to day duties including, but not limited to:

- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Drive a telehandler with bucket attachment to collect plastic and fill hopper.
- Adjust settings to obtain the optimum flow of conductive, non conductive and semi conductive material through the Electrostatic Separator.
- Ensure consistent flow of material into the material handling system.
- Repair minor issues and blockages in the system.
- Regular cleaning of Separator and work area.
- Use Baler to compress and band used sacks.
- Use forklift to transport and empty material sacks.
- Collate and record timed weights of material.
- Occasional cover in the factory on extruders and presses as directed by the supervisor.

Skills and Experience.
- Experience in a production environment preferably on machinery.
- Previous experience on a telehandler and forklift preferable but not essential.
- Not afraid to get hands on.
- Self motivated and disciplined.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Technically minded.

Hours of work.

You will follow a continental shift pattern of 4 shifts on and 4 shifts off.

**Salary**: £12.00-£13.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Spilsby, PE23: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
