**Payroll Co-ordinator / £24,000 - £26,000 / Burton on Trent / Hybrid / Permanent**

Macildowie are excited to be working with a company based in **Burton on Trent** who are currently looking for a **Payroll Co-ordinator** to join their team. The aim of this role is to ensure the payroll and expenses are paid in a timely manner in accordance with requirements.

This is a **full time permanent role.**They are offering a **hybrid** working model, working from home 4 days, and 1 day in the office.

The salary for this role is **£24,000 - £26,000** depending on experience, as well as a great benefits package.

**Responsibilities**:

- Uploading of time sheet data to the payroll system.
- Uploading of data to the payroll system.
- To provide an accurate response to employees in regard to queries relating to pay, tax and expenses, and to resolve these within agreed deadlines.
- Process all starters, leavers, salary amendments and taxable benefits and ensure data is accurately recorded on payroll system
- Update monthly information received from HMRC e.g. PAYE code, student loan notices.
- Follow tax year end procedures
- Issue payslips and P45's
- Maintain bank staff holiday records to ensure accuracy of payments
- Assist and deputise for the Senior Payroll Officer when necessary.

**Requirements**:

- Previous payroll experience
- Experience of working with I.T. systems and using Word & Excel.
- Customer service skills e.g. dealing sensitively with payroll queries; communicating information sensitively.
- Great attention to detail.
- Works in an organised manner; displays effective organisational and time management skills.
