Production Operative/machine Operator

**Purpose of the job**:
To provide assistance and support to the manufacturing of garments to company quality standards. There is an expectation that this role will provide general support in the production environment; including the warehouse and embroidery, where required.

**Working Relationships**:
Team Leader, Management, other Sewing Machine Operators and Warehousing colleagues.

**Main Responsibilities/Tasks**:
1. Completion of work/orders for required garment construction

2. Produce accurate work in line with company, quality and productivity targets

3. Quality Checks to be carried out (all Individuals are responsible for checking their own work, before passing on to the next stage of production) but further checks may be required

4. Any other reasonable work requested by management.

**Your Key Responsibilities**:
Using your initiative, you will provide sewing and production support to the overall Ilasco garment line.

This role requires you have strong organisation skills, excellent people skills and be highly effective at communicating at all times. With a can-do attitude you may be required to check the quality output at times therefore a confident approach is desirable.
