Senior Estimator - Corby - 40,000/50,000

ALH Recruitment are looking to recruit a Senior Estimator with immediate effect for our growing client in the Corby area.

**Senior Estimator Role**

Working closely in a team of 5 Estimators, you will occupy an office-based role and also carry out site visits/surveys when required. Working within a vibrant and collaborative company, reporting to the Estimating Manager.
- Travelling across the UK to survey works and meet with clients
- Compiling Scopes of work from client briefs and documentation
- Identifying Risks and Opportunities within each tender
- Sending packages to new and existing Sub-contractors across the supply chain
- Setting clear timelines for contractor returns
- Compiling estimates of true cost from multiple sectors and presenting to the Estimating Manager and Directors within the allotted return deadline
- Presenting clear handovers for the Commercial and Operational stakeholders
- Overseeing the workload, training and development of 2 direct reports

**Desired Skills and Experience**:

- Experience Estimating with 1st principles and scrutinization of Sub-contractor costs
- Main Contractor estimating experience
- Experience in Take offs of measurements
- Experience in Creating packages of work for accurate supply chain costings
- Construction Industry Qualification, Site/Trade experience or both
- Ability to manage and control multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work to strict deadlines
- Ability to communicate and present clearly to all stake holders
- Commercial awareness
- Experience Estimating Software (causeway preferably), though training can be given
- Experience with Excel, though training can be given
- Current and preferably clean driving license
