Bank Gynaecology Sonographer - North Downs Hospital - Bank Hours
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality Gynaecological Ultrasounds (no Obstetrics).
- Accurately interpret and analyse Ultrasound images to provide comprehensive reports to the referrers.
- Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and management.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements in the use of ultrasound equipment.
- Provide excellent patient care by demonstrating empathy, professionalism, and effective communication.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must be registered with relevant statutory body - HCPC, NMC or GMC.
- Proven experience in performing Gynecological sonographic examinations with a strong emphasis on pelvic imaging.
- Proficiency in other areas of sonography such as general abdominal, pelvic, and renal sonography is highly desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.
