What you’ll do:
The Painter will report to the Section Manager and be responsible for the assembly of Aggreko products in line with the production schedule, quality, H&S and cost targets.

Key Responsibilities include:

- General production manufacturing work
- Setting up and operating machine
- Surface finishing of parts, components, and assembled items including washing/painting
- Packaging materials or finished goods into containers for the purpose of protection, display, and handling
- HSE responsibility, Continuous Improvement, Product Quality Control
- Entry level professionals or highly experienced operations/technical/support Jobs. Technical operational knowledge of procedures and tools obtained through extensive work experience. First point of escalation for non-routine situations
- Responsible for assembly / mechanical assembly of Aggreko Manufacturing products in accordance with work instructions and quality control documentation
- Provide training to apprentices and pass on good learning and knowledge
- Individual responsibility for ensuring own safety and reporting any deviation from safety procedures. Escalating any H&S concerns to the relevant people
- Work to the high-quality standards of the business and escalate quality issues when they arise.
- Work in an effective manner with the direct team members and wider Manufacturing cross-functional teams where required
- Maintain work area in a safe and tidy working condition in compliance with 6S standards.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures and QHSE standards

Who we’re looking for

You will have an Apprenticeship or Progression towards Apprenticeship (Formal Qualification to ONC/SVQ Level - Desired but not essential). You will ideally have experience in a manufacturing environment preferably with a s strong knowledge of production methods. It is essential that you can understand and interpret engineering drawings.

You’ll be self-motivated, with problem solving skills and a quality led approach being able to identify issues, propose solutions, and think beyond your day-to-day remit.
