My client are recruiting for an Aftercare Coordinator to work within their Customer Care team managing the warranty period on build properties.
The Company
The company are a family run business providing homes to a range of people including first time buyers, families, and down sizers in highly sought-after locations. Their developments range from 10-100 units using naturally sourced materials. The company providea 2 year warranty period along with 10 year NHBC Buildmark and LABC Structural Warranty.
Aftercare Coordinator Role
Your role will be to provide an efficient and professional aftercare service, effectively and proactively identifying and resolving defects. Day to day you will liaise with technicians, suppliers, sub-contract trades and customers, good communication and organisationalskills are key to this role.

**Responsibilities**:
" Day to day management of the defect process
" Undertake inspections in occupied homes where the issues cannot be clearly identified or defined.
" Provide a clear breakdown of costs where it is necessary to contra-charge sub-contract trades and customers
" Co-ordinating our technicians, suppliers and sub-contract trades to resolve issues and make appointments for attendance
" Bring recurring faults and issues to the Director's attention, including problematic subcontract trades
" Attend final snagging inspection with the Contract's Manager and CAA to review and approve handover snagging items
" Arrange completion of end of defect works for Housing Associations
" Ensure Making Good Defects Certificates and retentions are received in a timely manner
" Ensure paperwork completed by the construction and sales teams in relation to legal completion and 7-day snagging is clear and complete
" Manage register of properties that are within the 2-year builders warranty period, regularly update our out of hours provider
Experience, Qualifications and Skills
" Experience of working within the construction or house building sector desirable
" Understanding of the NHBC AND LABC warranty
" Knowledge of the Consumer Code
" Excellent administrative and organisational skills
" Self-motivated, ability to multi-task with good time management
" Proficient IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and Clixifix)
" Good verbal and written communication skills
