A growing food manufacturer has an exciting opportunity for a Material & Production Planner role, based in Chalgrove, Oxfordshire. You will play a key role in the business, coordinating inbound stock, and also managing the production plan.

**Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per year**
**Plus 25 days annual leave + bank holidays, pension contribution and other company benefits**

**Suitable for: Production Planner**

**The Role**

Ensure availability of ingredients, and also create the daily production plan
Chase purchase orders, chase deliveries, run reports and analyse cost of raw materials
Manage suppliers and negotiation of contracts to stay within budgets
Analyse demand forecast to ensure the business has enough raw material stock
Create daily production plan, working closely with production managers
Ensure material availability inline with production requirements

Will have 3+ years’ experience within a supply chain function, ideally within the FMCG industry
You will be an Excel whizz, able to keep track of stock levels and production planning forms
Have previous experience creating a production schedule, within a food manufacturing environment
Have excellent communication and negotiation skills, able to build strong relationships with suppliers
An independent thinker who is proactive and motivated
Live a commutable distance from Chalgrove, Oxfordshire
