Sterling Recruitment Services currently have an opportunity for an expereinced CNC programer / operator.

Our client is a small manufacturer based in the Newton Aycliffe industrial estate who are looking to expand their team due to current growth.

Our client currently has one CNC Machine and is getting a new machine installed in March 2023. The new machine is a 4 axis machine and will require the use of AutoCAD and BSolid (Training will be provided on BSolid)

**Duties Include**:

- Safely operating machiery
- Programing and operating the CNC machine
- Working towards hitting production targets
- Supporting other production departments when needed
- General housekeeping duties
- Expereince working on a 3 or 4 Axis CNC machine
- Expereince working with AutoCAD

The working hours of the role are 8:00am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday with potential overtime available.

The pay rate of the role is £15.00 per hour, increasing to £15.73 per hour after completing the probationary period.

This role is a permenant job opportunity to start with our client within the new year.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £29,250.00-£30,654.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Newton Aycliffe: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
