**Job Purpose**

Mazars are looking for a Marketing Assistant to join their growing multi-disciplinary Marketing and Communications team. The role of the team is to provide expertise to help build the Mazars brand and reputation in the UK, while also driving consideration and demand for the services we offer.

Mazars has four Strategic Markets which represent the primary focus for marketing and business development support:

- Industry and Services
- Financial Services
- Public & Social Sector (P&SS)
- Privately Owned Business

This vacancy is within our P&SS team, who market to Local Government, Central Government, Social Housing, Education, NHS and Charity clients. This role is extremely varied, and so we are looking for someone who is a motivated, self-starter, who has a passion for both marketing and the public and social sector.

The vision of our P&SS team is to strengthen the UK's public and social sector, allowing it to be effective in its responsibility for public money and aiding its ability to deliver the services that benefit our communities the most. This rôle would be well suited to a recent graduate who is looking to establish a career in Marketing and Communications with a passion for supporting the public and social sector - someone who will bring enthusiasm, proactivity and drive to the role, and will help us build this important area of our business.

**Role & Responsibilities**
- Assisting with day-to-day marketing activities including social and digital activity, creation of marketing communications, the organisation of national events and webinars, campaign support and preparation of monthly reports
- Collation of market intelligence and competitor analysis
- Collation of content and communications for internal teams
- Assist with pitch/proposal creation and monitoring of success
- Maintain the Business Calendar for campaigns and events
- Assist in the development, distribution and maintenance of P&SS marketing collateral.
- Maintaining a central repository of marketing materials
- Attend, where appropriate, local events around the country to provide professional marketing support and assistance.
- Provide broad administrative support which could include, scheduling meetings, reporting and support with key accounts.
- Co-ordinate projects with senior stakeholders

**Skills, Knowledge and Experience**
- Passion for the Public and Social Sectors

- Ability to work pro-actively under pressure, with accuracy and focus
- Attention to detail and strong time-management skills
- Analytical skills: accurately and diligently assimilate information, grasp concepts quickly, research and solve problems
- Interpersonal skills: build effective relationships with internal stakeholders based on trust, confidence, and responsibility
- Must have a flexible attitude to working, and possess a willingness to work as part of a team
- Adaptability: adapt to new circumstances and comfortable working with complexity and ambiguity
- Credible and effective communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft platform (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Willingness to travel to Mazars offices as requested

Within the Marketing and Communications team, there will be times when presence in the office is required but we operate a hybrid working model, so you will split your time between working from home, visiting the office and other Mazars offices in the UK (where required).
