**Salary is £20,000 pro rata**
Office Hours: 35-hour week. Monday - Friday 8.30am-4.30am, 26 days holiday (pro rata) plus English bank holidays (4 days mandatory over Christmas closure)
We are an Engineering Inspection company employing around 50 staff with a multi-million-pound turnover. Due to expansion we are actively recruiting for the position of Administrative Assistant (job title - Customer Liaison Assistant) within our office in Musselburgh.
Strong customer communication skills are essential along with the confidence to make professional judgements.
There may be a need on occasion to travel between our offices in Scotland and England.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Make inspection appointments for Engineer Surveyors and maintain Engineer Surveyors diaries.
- Assist management when required with various non-specific tasks and assume other clerical duties when needed
- Ensure reports are issued to the relevant clients swiftly following inspection.
- Upload reports to the online viewing system.
- Process renewals for brokers and clients.
- Calculate and raise invoices and credits for clients.
- Lapse contracts.
- Manage online filing systems.
- Respond to customer enquiries and complaints and deal with efficiently.
- Manage own workflow and ensure that deadlines are met and work is completed correctly.
- Be able to comfortably work in a fast-paced small office environment.
- Maintain the Company’s professional image and reputation at all times when dealing with members of staff, customers and business providers.
