**Job Title: Project Engineer**

An amazing opportunity has now arisen to join their team at Great Yarmouth.
Purpose of the Role
Overall responsibility for onshore and offshore site operational activity
To ensure a collaborative approach across all operational functions from tender/enquiry stage through to onsite execution and client expectations.
Ensure offshore and onshore site projects and activities are set up and controlled adequately to furnish Client and contractual requirements.
**Duties**:

- Day to day management of all site operational activities including offshore and international locations.
- Regular communications with all Site Supervisors, and ensure resource requirements are achieved.
- Encourage pro-active engagement of our site personnel to discuss improvement of our support of the site functions.
- Project Tracking - both operationally and commercial
- Arrange kick off meetings prior to mobilisation of site works/projects as required.
- Checking and approval of specific project related documentation.
- Preparation of specific bids and proposals for potential projects, estimating costs, following up with customers and revising bids as needed.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure that the rolling forecast for the requirement of project/site resources is as accurate as possible, and continually reviewed to ensure that provision and planning of the required resources is achieved.
- Encourage feedback from site personnel with regard to company performance in supporting its site operations as well as any QHSE concerns
- Occasional travel for customer meetings /presentations and follow up will be required.
Monitor costs assigned to WO are raise awareness if commercial costs are growing to exceed allowed cost, be vigilant of Variation works and install the same to supervisory staff and construction engineers.
**PERSON SPECIFICATION**
Experience similar position within the Oil & Gas Industry
A proven background in managing Oil and Gas industry field personnel.
Construction Experience
Project Management experience.
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:
GCSEs or equivalent
Preferably BTEC Engineering or equivalent
