**Job Title: D365 Solution Architect**
**Location: Hybrid working UK based**
**About the role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Work with clients to understand their business requirements and design solutions that meet their needs.
- Define the technical architecture, solution design, and implementation approach for our projects.
- Provide guidance and support to development teams to ensure that they are following best practices and delivering solutions that meet the required standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of projects.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure that our solutions are innovative and cutting-edge.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Azure.
- Strong understanding of software design principles and patterns.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Microsoft Azure, including services such as Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, and Azure Storage.
- Microservices architecture and related technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- IoT (Internet of Things) development and related technologies such as Azure IoT Hub and Azure Stream Analytics.
- .NET development using C#.
- ASP.NET, including WebForms and MVC.
- You should also have experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum or XP, and a commitment to software development best practices such as TDD (test-driven development), SOLID principles, and software patterns. Experience with DevOps and continuous integration/continuousdeployment (CI/CD) practices is also desirable.
**Delivery Experience**
- 8+ years of overall experience.
- Extensive experience in defining, documenting, and delivering Application Design.
- Extensive experience in Requirements Gathering.
- Experience in presenting and selling Application Architecture to internal or external stakeholders or customers.
- Extensive experience in managing delivery.
- Experience mentoring others in development practices.
- Experience working in a Continuous Integration or Continuous Delivery environment.
- Project planning experience.
**Qualifications**:
- Microsoft Azure, including services such as Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, and Azure Storage.
- Microservices architecture and related technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- IoT (Internet of Things) development and related technologies such as Azure IoT Hub and Azure Stream Analytics.
- .NET development using C#.
- ASP.NET, including WebForms and MVC.
- WebAPI and RESTful services.
- Unit testing frameworks such as MS Test, NUnit, or xUnit, and mocking frameworks such as RhinoMocks, Moq, or NSubstitute.
- Dependency injection frameworks such as Unity, Castle Windsor, SimpleInjector, or NInject.
- In-depth knowledge of SQL Server/T-SQL or other database technologies, including experience with database design and optimization.
- Application security, including knowledge of common security threats and countermeasures, and experience implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Git or other source control systems.
- Optional: Experience with Entity Framework or other ORM (Object-Relational Mapping) tools.
- Optional: Powershell.
- Optional: Experience with SSO (Single Sign-On)/federated security.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
You should also have experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum or XP, and a commitment to software development best practices such as TDD (test-driven development), SOLID principles, and software patterns. Experience with DevOps and continuous integration/continuousdeployment (CI/CD) practices is also desirable.
