**Description**:
We are currently seeking a Maintenance Fitter at Dowlow Quarry, Buxton, Derbyshire.
**Key Responsibilities**:
The role will involve carrying out pro-active maintenance duties on a busy hard rock quarry and associated equipment, as well as responding to plant breakdowns.
Other duties will include planned preventative maintenance to ensure plant and equipment on site are safe, working effectively and fit for purpose.
You will work with the quarry management team to maintain high plant availability and production efficiency.
**Skills, Knowledge and Expertise**:
As well as working as part of our existing maintenance team, you will also be required on occasion to work on your own using your own initiative, so it is important you have good problem-solving skills.
Some weekend work will be required.
