We have an exciting opportunity to join our Angus AHP Service in this specialist Falls Co-ordinator role working within the AHP community rehabilitation team as part of Angus Health and Social Care Partnership. This role is open to Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy staff.
Your role as Falls Co-ordinator will involve leading and delivering on falls strategy within Angus HSCP. You will work closely with the Strategic Lead for Falls within the partnership and support delivery of the strategic commitments and targeted activity. The role involves working collaboratively to develop service needs and deliver the falls service. You will represent Angus as part of the Tayside Strategic Falls Group and chair the Angus Falls group, a multi-agency meeting, leading on development and analysis of falls related activity. We are looking for an individual who will engage with a range of stakeholders and create opportunities for partnership working.
You will carry a small clinical caseload focussing on delivery of Better Balance Classes. This will include organising, monitoring and reporting and will include supporting staff working within the service.
This role will also require a commitment to promoting and developing the falls agenda within the community as well as supporting staff to deliver high quality evidence-based rehabilitation.

An active in-service training programme is in place both with the local based and the Angus AHP Service. Personal and Professional Development is structured via the TURAS appraisal system.

Hours of work are: 18.75 hours per week
