DegreeSix is a specialist agency, working solely with Residential & Supported Living services for Young People [aged 6 - 18] in some of the top private Social Care providers in the Derbyshire & Nottinghamshire area.
We’re working with a Solo LD Residential home supporting Young People (aged 7 - 18) in the Ilkeston area.(Please note - due to location the client is looking for drivers to reliably travel to work)
The child within the home has Autism, Complex Learning Disabilities and Behavioural Challenges**.** We are looking for caring Support Workers that have the knowledge, Experience, Compassion, Patience and Understanding to provide quality care to this child.
You’ll be working on a set rota completing a mixture of day shift patterns (07:30 - 15:00 / 14:30 - 22:00 / 07:30 - 22:00).
** Role Requirements **
- Required - 6 months minimum of UK-based Social Care experience directly with Children in Residential homes
- Required - UK Driving Licence with access to own vehicle
- Preferable - Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Online update service (New required, if not registered Online)
