As a Learning Support Assistant, you will support students' learning, help regulate their behaviour, and create a safe and conducive environment for their growth.

**Role Description**:
As an Experienced Learning Support Assistant at Prospect School, you will play a vital role in providing personalized support to students with SEMH needs. This role involves working closely with our teaching staff and other support professionals to ensure that every student receives the assistance and guidance required to succeed.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEMH needs.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students can thrive.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to adapt teaching materials and methods to suit individual student requirements.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to support their development.
- Safeguard the well-being and safety of all students at all times.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Learning Support Assistant, particularly in supporting students with SEN and SEMH needs.
- Strong understanding of SEMH challenges and effective strategies to support students in overcoming them.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
- A compassionate and patient approach to supporting students in their educational journey.
- Relevant qualifications in education or SEN support are desirable.
