At Babcock we’re working to create a safe and secure world, together, and if you join us, you can play your part as a Major Infrastructure Project (MIP) Access Officer at our Devonport Royal Dockyard site.
**The role**
As an MIP Access Officer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary as the first point of contact for all MIP access into the Dockyard.
Day-to-day, you’ll manage access to Devonport Royal Dockyard for all employees and visitors.
- To provide a professional customer service and gateway to the Devonport site.
- To provide an effective and efficient counter service to ensure that MIP is in compliance with MOD contract requirements.
- To review and identify improvements in processes with a view to continually improve the working environment, bringing in efficiencies and effective outputs that are value for money.
- Promote the team ethos in the reception centres.
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and is based on site at Devonport Royal Dockyard
**Essential experience of the MIP Access Officer**
- Good knowledge of IT systems
- Ideally a Security background - Desirable
**Qualifications for the MIP Access Officer**
- GCSE Maths and English - Desirable
- NVQ in Customer Services - Desirable
